But for a lot of my life, I didn't see myself as an artist. As a child, I wanted to be a musician. As a college student, I wanted to be a writer. But it turned out that there was a creative field I was meant for that I never knew was waiting for me.

SOMETIMES IT FEELS LIKE ART FOUND ME

When COVID-19 lockdowns began in 2020, I wasn't quite sure how to spend my time stuck at home. So I started taking virtual art classes and found that I not only loved painting, but I was pretty good at it! I started painting my friends' engagement photos as wedding gifts, and before I knew it, I was getting order requests!

Now, I have the honor of calling myself a full-time artist. I still can't believe it most days. Whether it's painting a cherished home, the people you love, or creating art for your wedding day, every day that I get to paint for someone is a gift.
